Why does balance matter?
Being in balance makes us feel happy and healthy.

Only when our body and mind are balanced can we sustain a healthy and happy life. Being in balance gives us a sound centre from which we can withstand the strong pull of physical and emotional highs and lows. 

Being pulled away from our centre can make us feel strained, fatigued and even exhausted.
Shiatsu and Meditation support us in achieving balance and increase our ability to live mindfully.
​We begin to recognise our physical and emotional states and address them, moving towards a happier and more fulfilling life.

The Power Of Balance!

​​​When our body and mind are in a state of balance we feel happy, healthy and satisfied. But balance is not a static state, it is rather a dynamic one.

The Taoist say that the natural state is one of flux and constant change. Moving from one extreme to another, back and forth. Yin turns into Yang and Yang turns into Yin. Both exist at the same time and both are arising simultaneously. None can exist without the other and both are temporary. It is the cycle of nature for the pendulum to swing back and forth, from one to the other. By resisting or refusing to experience these swings, and by rejecting one of the opposites and embracing the other, we move out of balance. 
​
The challenge is to not to resist or to want just one of the extreme states, rather moving with the change from one to the other. Being mindful and flexible, so that we can adjust effortlessly and smoothly from moment to moment. ​Achieving balance helps you to stay healthy, happy and fulfilled.
