Shiatsu has a profoundly calming effect on the nervous system, while promoting the flow of energies within our body. Its gentle approach has noticeable positive effects on the body, mind, and soul, providing a deeply nourishing experience.
Following a brief consultation, I create a personalized treatment plan. As I begin the session and place my hands on the body, I focus my mind and expand my awareness. All plans and thoughts move into the background, allowing me to attentively listen to the body's needs and responses throughout the session. Mindful Shiatsu means full attention and awareness is given with every touch at every moment. Listening to the energetic flow and allowing intuition and knowledge to guide me. Shiatsu is a complete and complex form of treatment which addresses a pattern of disharmony on many levels. It is a method to work the physical body, balance emotions and relax the nervous system. It treats many symptoms, because it balances the energetic pathways and activates the body's own healing mechanisms. A treatment consists of acupressure, passive stretches, muscles and fascia release, deep tissue work, joint mobilization and deep nourishing energetic meridian connection. Shiatsu shows great results in treating chronic injuries and pain, frozen shoulder, insomnia, fibromyalgia and general stiffness. Just to mention a few. It has many benefits. But for starters, we know that it reduces stress and helps us to feel more grounded. Better able to cope. Happier. It is closely connected to our sense of feeling at ease and satisfied with our life. and helps us to gain appreciation for small moments, sensations and experiences in life. But this doesn't happen on its own accord. We have to train our mind. And that's why we meditate.

Stress Resilience is a six weeks program designed to equip you with coping skills and techniques to come closer to balance. You will learn exercises and meditations to help you sleep, get rid off pent-up energy and to gain a smoother energy flow in your body. These specific techniques are aimed to build life skills for living a happier and more satisfying life.
